Biography:

He received his B.Sc. in Physics &Computer Science from Ain Shams University Cairo, Egypt in 1986. He received a post graduate diploma in electronics from Ain Shams University, Cairo Egypt 1988. In 1990 he received his MSc. in the microwaves area from Ain Shams University Cairo, Egypt. He received his Ph.D. degree in thin films technology 1998 (cooperation system between Claustahl-Zeller Field Teschneche Universtate -Germany and Ain Shams University –Egypt). Since 2009, he is the manager of the Ain Shams Center for the Egyptian e-learning University (EELU). He is currently a professor of a scientific computing in the Egyptian e-learning University (EELU) and an associate professor of computational physics at Ain Shams University. His research interests include wavelet theory and its applications in the fields of signal and image processing, as well as optimization techniques based on machine learning and soft computing.
