Biography:
Dr. Essam Abdrabou is a qualified professional with almost 22 years of solid experience in engineering, operations, and software development. Dr. Essam has joined Zamil Steel in 1997. During his career, he has contributed in the development of several software packages tailored to pre-engineered building industry which includes engineering as well as manufacturing processes. In addition, he has succeeded in the application of artificial intelligence in these business software packages. Beside his professional career, he has worked as adjunct assistance professor in academia.
Dr. Essam has published several papers in international refereed journals and conference proceedings. In 2012, he had contributed in a research in crowd management with Center of Excellence in Hajj and Omrah, Umm Al-Qura University, Saudi Arabia. Currently, he has an advisory role in the 9-month track for Civil Engineering Informatics in The Information Technology Institute which is one of the affiliates of the Ministry of Communications, Egypt.
